The release of the Skysim de Havilland Sea Vixen for FS2004 and FSX marks a whole new chapter in the portrayal of historic jet aviation within Microsoft flight simulation. This aircraft has been painstakingly developed over many months, using real world manuals, ultra close up inspections of the real aircraft and is endorsed by the owners and operators of the world's last flying Sea Vixen.
Every system, every actuator and every instrument (within the restrictions of MSFS) have been modeled down to the very last detail, yet the model retains a super smooth performance on even modestly specified PC's. With a flight model endorsed by real world ex-Fleet Air Arm pilots, this is the perfect carrier based all-weather aircraft.

This aircraft is supplied with multiple texture sets, including the high visibility target drone operated by the Royal Aircraft Establishment and several front line carrier based operational aircraft from the 1960s. A 2D panel supplements the stunning virtual cockpit (from which all aspects of flight can be controlled) and features a sound set that is guaranteed to show the full potential of your speakers. Animations include wing fold; canopy openings; nose cone opening; fuel probe extension as well as selectable weapons and external tanks. Add to this, flying surfaces that realistically 'droop' when hydraulic pressure has decreased and a full set of covers and steps, it is obvious just how much work has been incorporated into this design.
