The Sea Vixen was a British carrier borne all weather fighter and strike aircraft and was one of the most exciting aircraft operated by the Royal Navy during the 1960's and 70's.  She was the largest and last of the de Havilland twin boomed fighter aircraft which so epitomised British air power of the post war era.   At Skysim we are concentrating our efforts on Jet Heritage simulation and for our first aircraft we chose the magnificent Vixen.  

For our second project we chose the BAe Systems Hawk T1 by Rick Piper. The Hawk is an advanced trainer which first flew in 1974 and was designed to replace the Folland Gnat in the Royal Air Force. Most famous as the mount of the Red Arrows, the Hawk is still in production with over 900 aircraft sold to many  countries around the world.  The FS model should be ready for release late spring or early summer 2008.

Close on the Hawk's heels, Mark Harper is developing the Dassault Mirage III and 5 which are supersonic fighter aircraft designed in France by Dassault Aviation during the 1950s, and manufactured both in France and a number of other countries. They were very successful fighter aircraft, being sold to many air forces around the world and remaining in production for over a decade.

Ellsworth is a US Air Force base close to Rapid City, South Dakota. It is home to the B-1B Lancer of the 28th Bomb Wing and is an emergency landing site for the Space Shuttle.  Our scenery for FSX includes AI B-1B and C130 aircraft.

  The second scenery in our catalogue by Team SDB. Andrews AFB continues to build on our theme of Military airfields and includes several AI aircraft to populate this active airbase. The home of Airforce 1, Andrews is the premier airbase for many federal agencies as well as having USAF, USN and USM services based there. The scenery comes complete with a full compliment of top quality AI aircraft and included is an alternative/additional AI Traffic file for use with Military AI Works Andrews AI aircraft.

Shortly we'll be releasing this little beauty, the Grob Vigilant T1 trainer of the Air Cadets. She'll be available for FSX and FS2004
